Whilst we do not replace the local authority fire service, having a fully-equipped and highly trained crew on-site allows for an immediate response to emergency situations - limiting damage, protecting your customers, staff and brand, and potentially making the difference between life and death. Having an on-site fire crew can also prevent unnecessary calls to the fire service, demonstrates your commitment to the health and safety of your customers, and could even lead to reduced insurance premiums.
Our experienced crews can cater for all your event fire cover needs, providing peace of mind to you - the event organiser - that every eventuality is covered. Prior to your event our staff can assist you in fire and emergency planning matters, attending Safety Advisory Group meetings and liaising with the local Fire Service to develop emergency response plans. We can also assist in the provision of fire extinguishers, and advise your Health and Safety Consultants and Risk Assessors on fire safety matters.
Once on site our crews take a pro-active approach to ensure the safe and smooth running of your event. Crews will actively monitor fire safety matters and take corrective action to reduce risks. Our staff form an integral part of the event team, providing fire safety briefings and training to stewards and security staff, and work closely with your event medical providers to ensure effective joint working.
We can also provide a dedicated fire control function to work in event control to ensure seamless communication during an incident.
Crews can carry out other activities as required by the organisers, such as carrying out patrols to ensure fire lanes are kept clear, providing fire safety advice to campers and visitors, liaising with the local fire service throughout the event, and standing by at high risk activities to ensure a rapid response to any incident.
Should the worst happen and fire breaks out or another emergency occurs at your event, our highly trained crews will respond quickly to contain and deal with the situation. Whilst we are not there to replace the local authority fire service, often a quick response can prevent an incident escalating, preventing harm to staff and customers, reducing damage to property, and sometimes being the difference between life and death. If an incident is outside the capabilities of the on-site team, our staff will contain the situation to prevent harm, and liaise with and assist the local authority fire service on their arrival.
