In-Vision Fire Appliances and Crews
Red Rose Fire Solutions can provide appliances and crews for in-vision work on TV and film productions. Our modern appliances are fully equipped to Local Authority standards ensuring an accurate portrayal of the fire service in your production, and we can offer guidance to producers and directors on aspects of fire service procedures. In addition, with links to the Museum of RAF Firefighting (www.firemuseum.uk) we can also assist in the supply of a range of period fire appliances, uniforms and equipment from wartime to the present day should you be working on a vintage production.
Safety Cover and Special Effects
As well as providing in-vision elements, we can also provide behind the scenes fire and rescue cover for stunts and special effects. Our staff can provide an immediate response on set during fire and explosion scenes, dealing with any accidental outbreaks of fire swiftly and allowing for a quick turnaround between takes. Our rescue equipment also means we can provide safety cover for stunts involving vehicles, and our pumping equipment can be utilised to provide set wet-downs or rain effects, even in remote areas away from mains water supplies.
